Hi! I’m Minji Kim, born and raised in Seoul, South Korea. (My family has lived in Seoul for three generations, so I naturally speak standard Korean.)
🌟 My Experience
Witnessing a family struggle with language barriers in my youth inspired me to become a Korean teacher. Since then, I’ve dedicated myself to helping learners through educational content and broadcasting. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Korean Language and am pursuing a master’s in Korean Language Education. With the support of my students, I’ve grown as a qualified teacher, earning recognition in articles and papers. My mission is to give back the love I’ve received to Korean learners worldwide.Me as a Teacher

I’ve created over 400 Korean learning videos and gained 400,000 followers. One of the most memorable comments I received was from a student who said, "I couldn’t understand anything from the textbook, but after watching Minji’s video, it finally clicked."

I was lucky enough to meet Minji in September 2025, and since then my Korean has improved tremendously. Thanks to her, I’m learning comprehensive, practical Korean, not just textbook sentences.
She is a highly recognized professional teacher on italki (not a community tutor), and it really shows in the way she explains grammar, adapts to my level, and helps me express myself more naturally. Her lessons are well-structured, encouraging, and always motivating.

Some time has passed, and there’s not much more to say… I stand by my words from my previous review after one of my first lessons with Minji.
She is very dedicated, always prepared, and creates a very friendly and relaxed learning atmosphere. Conversing with her is an absolute pleasure. I guarantee it will be hard to find a better teacher on italki than Minji.
So don’t hesitate - first go to Minji's YouTube channel, give her a subscribe, and then book a lesson with her. Just not too many, so there are still free slots left for me!

Minji est une professeure incroyable : bienveillante, patiente ,claire et toujours pleine d’énergie.
Chaque cours est fluide, vivant et parfaitement préparé.
Grâce à elle, j’ai enfin compris des points complexes de grammaire et à travers nos conversations elle corrige toutes mes erreurs. Aujourd’hui, elle a preparé un cours sur le bénévolat en Corée ^^ c’était passionnant comme d’habitude !
