italki teacher since Sep 8, 2009
I'm a quite educated person, now retired from my day job and travelling the world full time as a so-called "Digital Nomad", teaching and learning languages. So I have a lot to talk about, and I would be happy to hear about your life, country, and culture. I like the outdoors, swimming, hiking and kayaking. But I'm also into technology, blogging, literature, and philosophy.
Me as a Teacher
I strongly believe in passion-driven independent learning. So I hope you have a passion for learning Danish and are looking for a responsive tutor for assistance on your journey towards fluency. I cannot upload Danish into your head, but if you are ready to do some consistent work yourself, it's my experience that one can become proficient in Danish without attending any school.
My lessons & teaching style
I'm a tutor and don't have a teaching program. Basically, I want my students to talk as much as possible. Nowadays, there are a lot of resources online to keep you engaged between lesson, and I would be happy to help you find the right ones for you. A tutoring lesson on italki is about putting your studies into practice. So please think about what you want to attain during the lesson. I will point out your weak points and make you practice them in a friendly and relaxed setting.
