Hello! I'm a university-educated polyglot who wants to share my love of English and learning languages with others.
I worked at two major newspapers, taught at university, and then transitioned into writing cookbooks. Along the way, I lived in Spain and Argentina for a few years. It's been quite the adventure!
I was born in the U.S. and lived there for decades. For the last 11 years, I've lived in Canada.
I have a physical disability, so if you identify with that and want to throw that in the mix, let's talk about that too! :)
Please note: I'm best able to help students who are age 18 or above and who are at level B1 or above.

I'm patient and kind. People learn best when the learning is fun, so I try to bring laughter and levity to my teaching style. Not everything has to be 100% serious to be useful!
