I support students and give good energy. I love languages and real, human connection. That's the beauty of being able to speak to real people and making a connection.
I love writing of all kinds. In addition to teaching English I use writing as an editor and translator from French and Spanish.
Writing and playing music are my favorite things to do.

As a writing instructor, students tend to see results very quickly. I put a lot of effort into both correcting and explaining so the student understands the reason behind the corrections and how to improve their writing immediately.
In conversation courses, I like to spend our class time speaking, so I give homework in the form of podcasts, reading, and writing. Then we discuss these things in class. We also do role-playing and fluency-building exercises to improve your speaking as quickly as possible. My lessons & teaching style
When I read your writing, I work meticulously to make sure students get the most for their money. At the same time, I expect students to put in effort to make real, concrete progress in their writing. This is really rewarding work and I don't think it's hard at all -- it's really enjoyable. I hope you can feel that too!
In English conversation, I try to get my students to the point where they forget they're using a foreign language. The experience should feel fairly easy and entertaining, as the language is acquired by the student. I use 1) Podcasts, 2) Texts (articles, stories, poems, etc), 3) Role-playing, 4) Fluency exercises, 5) Real-life, authentic language examples.My teaching material
