You can find my YouTube channel “learn Chinese with Rushan” to see a little bit of my teaching. I specialized in tackling HSK exams , improving your Chinese listening and speaking skills.
I have started teaching Chinese since 2015, when I tutored foreign teaching assistants in university on 1 to 1 base, then in classroom to little kids in Sunday School in UK, and later teaching in private school in Thailand.
And I have already extensively taught online one to one since 2018 part time.
I am attentive, patient, always ready to help, responsible. Other than a language teacher, I also a big language learners, French, Spanish, Korean, also Greek.Me as a Teacher
1. I believe that teaching is to provide you a good way to learn more by yourself. My goal is to train you to be an independent learner.
2. I like to ask questions a lot during the lessons to make it a bit more challenging for you, "i+1" input.
3. I believe in task-based learning and acquiring a language through reading. My lessons & teaching style
My teaching style is to teach with multiple examples, is to guide you to think and make sense of the language and logic behind.
I tailor every single lessons for student with different needs and different learning styles and methods.
The lessons will be interesting and practical as I always use everyday life things as example and materials. The materials will be the most authentic one as I write my own materials from everyday counters and inspirations.My teaching material

Rushan was a little unprepared for the lesson which started a couple of minutes after the scheduled time. Unfortunately there was no plan nor clear direction. I did appreciate her patience with me as a beginner and also interesting direction through Hanzi but a formal plan would have been better as well as some organisation. I do think Rushan would be better with more experienced students who prefer to just exercise their vocabulary rather than learn.
