Hi there! I'm Vero, and I've been sharing my passion for languages by teaching Spanish and ESL English for more than two decades, both in-person and online. Having grown up in Argentina and the US, I'm lucky to call both Spanish and English my native languages. Beyond teaching, I work as a legal translator and interpreter.
My love for foreign languages takes me on exciting journeys around the globe. Besides being fluent in Spanish and English, I've mastered French and Italian, and I'm currently immersed in the world of Portuguese. I find joy in exploring various cultures and making connections worldwide. Apart from languages, my interests extend to music, art, cooking, and, dance.Me as a Teacher
With over 20 years of teaching Spanish and ESL English, I hold a TESOL certification and specialize in diverse proficiency levels, particularly seniors, adults, and teens. My academic background includes an M.A. Degree in M.A.L.S. Culture & Arts from Rutgers University, and I am currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in International Affairs at Harvard University.
I tailor language lessons to individual needs, incorporating personal interests and learning styles to enhance listening and oral production skills progressively. A 24-hour cancellation policy is strictly enforced, and if a student doesn't join within the initial 10 minutes, the lesson is automatically canceled.My lessons & teaching style

Lessons follow a three-part structure: oral fluency development through conversation, guided practice in a grammar module, and a vocabulary section with a focus on pronunciation. I tailor activities to your interests, such as movies or recipes, while accommodating specific requests. All necessary materials are provided, and sessions utilize a Google shared document as a dynamic class notebook and whiteboard. Access to a computer or iPad is crucial for comfortable document use and typing during the lesson (no cellphones, please!).My teaching material
