Mayuna

Had another great lesson with Mayuna-san. Through her teachings and additional resources, I'm seeing my comprehension increase tremendously! She continues to be a fantastic teacher and always a joy to work with. I'm hoping I'll be able to leave reviews in Japanese soon enough!

Another great lesson, always learning new things, refining past concepts, laughing and strengthening my language learning muscles bit by bit! Even if you can only afford 1 30 minute lesson a week, you can learn Japanese with Mayuna!!

Just had my last lesson with Mayuna sensei prior to my trip to Japan. I can't wait to use what I've learned on my trip! Today we focused on past tense, conjugating verbs, and casual form for conversation. I know these lessons will help me communicate in Japan and I look forward to continuing my lessons with Mayuna sensei once I return!

This is now my third lesson with Mayuna-sensei and her help has been invaluable for understanding nuance in a way that apps or textbooks can't always convey on their own. I feel more confident every time I speak with her about my progress!

With a week and half until my trip to Japan, Mayuna sensei keeps helping me feel prepared and confident in my Japanese! I may still be a beginner, but thanks to Mayuna sensei's guidance, I will make my best effort to communicate as much as I can in Japanese during my trip. After the trip is done, I'm excited to continue my learning with Mayuna sensei with the goal of becoming fluent!
