British English Teacher with Extensive International Business, Academic, and Exam Experience The only thing I love more than learning new things is sharing knowledge with people, which is part of the reason I became a teacher. Working on italki has allowed me to learn about the lives, cultures, and customs of people all over the world, and at the same time teach them about my own. I am interested in almost everything, and I am always happy for you to teach me new things! I could be described as both an introvert and an extrovert – an introvert because I work alone at home but an extrovert because I spend my days talking with lots of people! Over the years, I have taught many students and I believe the biggest problem for most students is lack of confidence. In my lessons, I encourage students to talk as much as possible in a natural way. You already know a lot of English - I want you to be able to use it for communication! My particular interests as a teacher are Business, Academic, and Exam Preparation. One area that I like to focus on is writing - it is a very important skill that helps to develop your spoken English. I have helped students pass all the major exams for immigration and education purposes, pass job interviews and get promotions, and give presentations at international conferences.
