About Me

I’m a TEFL certified English teacher with a bachelor’s degree and around eighteen months’ experience teaching varying ages and levels, both online and in person, specializing in one-to-one style teaching.
Being a language learner myself, I have a good understanding of what it’s like to be in your position, in terms of empathy, strategies and pitfalls.
I also have over fifteen years’ professional experience, to which I believe aids in giving an informed and balanced approach to 'real world' English application.My lessons & teaching style
My classes are aimed at intermediate to advanced learners, based around your personal needs and goals. These will be established in the first, introductory class, where I’d like to get to know you and get an in-depth picture your level and what your expectations are.
The classes could then be structured as follows:
- Conversations to improve fluency with error correction
- Structured, grammar and accuracy based lessons
- IELTS preparation
- General or business English
- A combination of the above
