Pauline

I’ve taken a bunch of classes with Pauline and strongly recommend her. She has all the qualities of a fantastic teacher. She’s interesting and fun to talk to, good at explaining things, and extremely nice. She’s also extraordinarily patient--it takes me forever to string together a sentence, usually while making mistakes. But I don’t feel any pressure or judgment from Pauline; she remains encouraging and helps me through what I’m trying to say and offers different ways to say it. She also gives good exercises and makes interesting recommendations for French media. She’s just all-around a terrific teacher.

Pauline is excellent! Had my first session and it was already useful. We are leaning how to read and speak as we go and learning the tips and grammar comes with actual and realistic practice. Looking forward to more classes

I had French lessons at school but was always a bit at war with the language. For a few years now, I have been trying on and off with different teachers to bring my French up to an acceptable level - unfortunately always with a feeling of inner resistance and overwhelm. With Pauline, I finally have the feeling that I have found the right teacher. She has a very pleasant personality and makes me feel at ease so that I was able to get rid of most of my anxiety within just a few lessons. I like the textbook we use because it starts with topics and structures that can be used immediately when travelling to France. In addition, Pauline brings more materials and resources, and ensures that I speak a lot. She patiently answers all my questions. I am very happy that - after several failed attempts - I have finally found Pauline!

Very patient and accommodating. I’m a newbie when it comes to speaking, but Pauline guided me through my extremely broken French and gently corrected my errors. She speaks clearly and is easy to understand. Merci beaucoup!
