Hello! My name is Ángeles, and I specialize in helping students learn Spanish in a way that’s both engaging and effective. My method is rooted in neuroscience and neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), combining how our brains process language with creative, interactive techniques. I focus on activating both hemispheres of the brain: the logical left side for grammar and structure, and the imaginative right side through images, non-verbal communication, colors, and sensations. This holistic approach makes learning Spanish not only easier but also more enjoyable!
I began teaching Spanish over 20 years ago, starting in Japan, where I fell in love with the art of teaching.Me as a Teacher
Learning another language can be hard, but it can also be a fun and rewarding experience. Although I am a native Spanish teacher, I can relate to students because I had to learn English and Japanese when I was younger. I now know making mistakes and learning from them is the best way to learn a language. I believe how you feel is even more important than what you know when speaking a different language. Therefore I tell true stories from my experience, give advice and share tips to help you feel more confident and motivate you when communicating in Spanish. I love teaching because it is one of those great professions that allow you to be forever learning.My lessons & teaching style
I am IH-certified and have taught students from various backgrounds, ages, and levels. I also prepare students for tests such as DELE, SIELE and CEI.
I love to pass my passion and enthusiasm for Spanish on to others. My main objective is to help you to develop your communication skills.
What I enjoy most about teaching Spanish is meeting students from other countries and cultures, learning new things from them, tailoring my lessons to their particular needs, helping them improve their Spanish and seeing them progress in their lives and careers. I am grateful for all of my students over the years who have shared their stories, interests, and dreams with me.My teaching material

Estoy estudiando espanol por otras maneras tambien, pero Angeles me ayuda a practicar lo que he aprendido y usarlo en conversacion. Ella es simpatica y amable, y cada vez aprendo por su apoyo y ayuda con el idioma. Hablamos sobre muchos temas y me alegre cuando puedo encontrar las palabras correctas, pero ella tambien me ayuda a saber como se usa varias palabras cuando no sigue el forma de ingles. Es muy buena maestra! She helps me put everything I'm learning together into conversations that would be useful in real life, and that is invaluable. I feel much more confident in my ability to express myself and even to use what I've learned in a work or school setting sin hacerme el tonto!

I always enjoy my lessons with Ángeles—we have so much fun exploring real topics in conversation, utilizing the grammar and vocabulary to reinforce learnings. She really pays attention patterns in my learnings and can identify where reinforcement can be the most beneficial so that I can become more fluent!

I really enjoy lessons with Ángeles because we have a conversation just as friends would, but she’s also teaching me as we talk. After the lesson, I have learned things and practiced vocabulary and grammar, but I don’t feel like it was work; it’s more like hanging out with someone who I can laugh and have fun with. (I am a B2 level language learner.)

I really enjoy my lessons with Ángeles because she has such an easygoing manner that encourages me to try and say more and more things. I get to practice more complicated grammatical constructions, and she is so encouraging. Working with her gives me great conversation practice, and I never feel embarrassed because I feel like she’s there to help me figure out how to say things, not to correct me. Our lessons are fun because we get to laugh together as well as chat. Great teacher!
