Amélie

Ámelie is amazing! She is the perfect tutor, and our lesson went perfectly! Prior to our lesson, I’d had a bit of exposure to French (from having seen, heard, and researched it,) but I’d call myself an absolute beginner, regardless, because there’s very little I know how to say. Amélie was very receptive to working on the topics I’d requested. Also, in the beginning of our lesson, she gave me options to choose for the methods we could use to review everything. I’d selected the “grammar debunking” lesson, but we focused on French phonetics- it’s so helpful to have a general sense of the sounds and corresponding ways to write them. We focused on Québec French phonetics because I’d asked to, but she also knew a lot about how the sounds and other aspects of France French work, even though she’s from Québec! We managed to cover so much. She was very observant of what I was understanding and what I was having trouble with and knew how to explain things in ways I understood.

Amelie is a great teacher, she really cares about her students. 🌟🌟🌟

Amélie is very energetic and structured and you can see at once that she is an experienced tutor. She gave me an assessment of my current level and was attentive to my specific needs and expectations.

Amelie is a very competent teacher. She was very helpful to me with pronunciation and usage of the French language during conversation. She also helped me with other languages that I study. I will book other classes with Amelie.
