Hi, I am Evie. I am from Taiwan but currently working in Barcelona (in BD and Operation). I have enjoyed language learning and traveling among other hobbies. It's why I consider here a perfect platform for me to stay connected with the world and help people with a passion for Mandarin to master it in a fun way. :)Me as a Teacher
I have great patience in teaching. It's not only because I have always loved language learning, but also because I appreciate the opportunities to meet more different people and to exchange our different perspectives. Because of my educational (MBA) and career background, I can also contribute if the students are interested in the business environment of Chinese-speaking countries. My lessons & teaching style
I believe that only when people enjoy learning itself, they can really make progress in the subject - this is why I insist on my classes being fun. As culture shapes language, I emphasize the importance of learning by imitating the way local people think and act rather than by translating from students' native language. In this way, I am sure that my students can learn real Chinese and make the most of the lessons with me.5.0

I really like Evie, she is such an enthiousastic teacher that caters the lessons to my interests and level. She is diligent in making sure my pronounciation is correct. I love my lessons with Evie! Since I started taking lessons with her more often, I've noticed myself improving and understanding way more than I used to. My Mandarin conversation skills are not good yet, but she has a lot of patience, always repeating sentences slowly so that I can understand and giving me feedback on my grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. I'm looking forward to our next class!
