I had a really bad experience with this teacher, both during and after the lesson. During class, she wasn't really present all the time, she was answering a call and talking on the phone. I had to ask her to take notes, and even then she only wrote some vocabulary in the chat, not in a separate document. I also had to keep reminding her to speak Chinese, even though this was an HSK5-6 level class. I had booked a "Learning news with the teacher" class, but we just reviewed my own material which was ok so I can progress on the vocabulary I need. After class, I asked her to send a short news article to go along with the lesson. She first sent me just the vocabulary list, and after I insisted a lot, she send me a random article that had nothing to do with our topic. Also, she told me she would only correct my homework during our next class

She knows to deal with my frustration, and always challenges me to do better. I am so grateful to have Dawn as a teacher!
