Greetings! I am Pablo, a certified Spanish instructor and historian specializing in Latin American studies. Since 2018, I have been delivering online Spanish instruction, integrating linguistic education with the cultural richness of our region. My academic background in history allows me to offer a unique perspective, blending language acquisition with historical and cultural insights. I have extensive international experience, having taught Spanish and Argentine tango across South America and Europe. From 2015 to 2020, I operated a boutique guesthouse in Buenos Aires, where I conducted immersive Spanish and tango programs for international visitors. My main focus as a teacher is that you manage to talk and communicate fluently in Spanish. For that purpose we will work with text books, authentic material, grammar etc.
You will learn new vocabulary, new grammar and new expressions in every class, and the goal is to use them in conversation in every class.
If you are an intermediate/advanced student and you want to practice only conversation, we will do it in a fluent way, focused on your topics of interest and correcting possible mistakes, pronunciation and intonation.

Today we analyzed a piece I wrote about a vacation I recently took to Spain. This was extremely helpful to me, especially for past verb tenses with which I really struggle. Pablo is very patient in correcting any mistakes I make and explaining any issues. I am also practicing speaking what I wrote which is great for working on my pronunciation and general speaking skills. Great lesson!

I have started the history course with Pablo and the first lesson was very interesting. As I enjoy history a lot, it suited me well. Pablo had already sent me materials which supplemented the learning. He explained the history well which made for interesting conversation, which presented new vocabulary to learn.
