Hi there! My name is Rebecca and I am a 27-year-old South African Professional marketing and Business English Teacher living in Dubai. I have a Bachelors's Degree in Marketing Management and have been working in digital marketing and sales since 2018.
I am a native English speaker with my second language being Afrikaans, a language native to South Africa.

I received my TEFL qualification in 2018 and started teaching English professionally at the beginning of 2020 & have since accumulated over 5000 hours of experience. In 2022, I was rated the 1% of English Teachers on iTalki.

I had more than a hundred classes with Rebecca on scientific editing and proofreading of my scientific articles in the fields of astronomy, physics and engineering.
On my last article, we spent dozens of classes, we had 3 loops of editing. Finally, the article successfully passed through the English language edition board of the well-known magazine Photonics MDPI (Impact Factor: 2.4, 2022) with only 2 small remarks, and it was published.
I may recommend Rebecca not only as a general English teacher but also as a teacher for specific purposes such as scientific editing.
