Certified English Teacher from Canada I am a native English speaker from Canada. I grew up in the province of British Columbia in Canada, lived in Quebec for six years, and now live in British Columbia again. I enjoy reading, movies, video games, and spending time in my vegetable garden. I also have a dog, goats, and chickens. I am TEFL and TESOL certified. I took International TEFL Academy's program in Costa Rica in 2018 and have been teaching since then. I have taught a wide variety of students, from beginners to advanced, and I love what I do. I firmly believe the classroom should be a fun and interactive environment for students. I am a patience teacher and I'm comfortable teaching any level of English learner. If you are unsure what level you are, I will work with you to determine it, and I will also provide you with a short survey and list of questions to determine which areas should be focused on to create customized lesson plans based on your needs.

I had an awesome first lesson with Melody, this was the first sort of ''structured'' lesson I have taken here on iTalki in quite a long time and I really enjoyed it, she was extremely engaging and able to spot my mistakes in pronunciation which is good and really helpful for me to polish all those details.
