Elena and I have worked out a long term plan to reach fluency in Russian. Every lesson is productive, her conversation skills are excellent. She is very knowledgeable on a broad variety of subjects and knows many things, such as books and movies, to help learn Russian. She is a great teacher!

There are many, many words to learn to reach fluency. I feel I have interesting conversations with Elena that make us stumble upon words and phrases specific to Russian that might not be so common. Elena's suggestions for Russian literature and film have helped me to maintain my interest over the long term to continue studying. Elena has made fluency seem possible.

Elena is a positive, kind, energetic, and professional teacher. I really enjoy our conversations on all sorts of topics. She listens carefully and understands me when I'm looking for a word or phrase. I highly recommend her!
