About Me

Hello, my name is Alexis! It's very nice to meet you! I'm from the UK and I was born and raised in London, where I am currently residing. I love travelling and learning new languages and about different cultures. I myself am learning Korean, Mandarin and Japanese and I understand how hard it can be when it comes to learning a new language. I graduated with a bachelors in psychology I love listening to music, reading and sports too. I have many different hobbies that maybe I can share with you as you share yours with me too! I have also made a few friends on this site as language exchange partners, having gone to South Korea to even meet one of my friends in 2019!

Me as a Teacher

I have only been teaching English for two month and I mostly teach through conversational English. Being British, we speak using many idioms and I have come to love teaching people about them. I am more than happy to teach English using powerpoints that I have made, as well as worksheets. I'm extremely bubbly and patient, so please don't feel embarrassed if you think that you English isn't good! We can grow together! Me as a new teacher and you as a new student!

My lessons & teaching style

I teach using powerpoints that I have made, alongside English textbooks. If you have any textbooks that you have bought, I am more than happy to use them and help you with your work, otherwise I can use my own resources. I have more of a hybrid approach. I am happy to use lesson plans, but if you want to talk, I am more than happy to do that as well! I am flexible and I'm ready to do whatever it takes to make you happy and comfortable, as long as you're ready to learn English with me!
