Hello from Hollywood! 🎬 I’m Peter, a professional actor, director, and accent coach. I’m a native English speaker from California and studied English and Acting at UCLA. In LA, I’ve coached actors to refine their accents and prepare for TV and Film. I now bring that same attention to pronunciation and natural speech to my students. Teaching runs in my family—my mother is an English teacher, my father has a PhD in physics. I taught SAT preparation to Chinese students in New York, then taught English with Berlitz in Santa Monica and Puerto Rico and at ELS Language Centers. My lessons are flexible and very interactive. You’ll speak a lot, while I correct mistakes naturally and explain them. We'll focus on conversation, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, accent reduction, interviews, or presentations. I’m also a language learner, having studied French, Spanish, Russian, and some Chinese, so I understand how difficult it can be to sound natural in another language.
