Hi everyone, my name is Linda and I’m from Slovakia. I studied International Relations in Prague and later completed my Master’s in Translation at the University of Bristol. Today, I work as a translator and interpreter.
Slovak is my native language but I am lucky to come from a generation that considers Czech as their native language too, and I’m also fluent in English, French, and Spanish. Right now, I’m learning Arabic — also through iTalki — so I understand very well what it feels like to be in your shoes as a learner.Me as a Teacher
I see myself less as a traditional teacher and more as a conversation partner and guide. Because I work as a translator and speak several languages myself, I know how tricky it can be to move from understanding a language to actually speaking it fluently.
My lessons are relaxed, friendly, and focused on real communication. I enjoy tailoring conversations to your interests — whether that’s travel, culture, food, current events, or everyday situations. My lessons & teaching style

Linda is very well-organized and patient. She always prepares her lessons thoroughly and tailors each class to my needs.
