My name is Marisha, and I'm a native English speaker from South Africa with nearly ten years of online teaching experience. I’m also learning Portuguese and working on improving my Afrikaans—so I completely understand the challenges that come with learning a new language! Each lesson includes useful vocabulary, a reading or video, engaging activities, and a comprehension task. After completing a 10-lesson package, you can choose to continue with topic-based lessons or switch to more textbook-focused grammar sessions—whichever suits your learning goals best. For conversational classes, we’ll chat about topics that interest you and are relevant to your daily life. Whether you’re an adult wanting to build fluency or a child just beginning your English journey, I’ll do my best to keep each lesson motivating and meaningful. Before we begin, or during your trial lesson, we’ll chat about your learning goals and what you'd like to achieve. I’m here to support yo...

Marisha is very considerate and teaches with great care, creating a comfortable learning environment tailored to my child’s level. She always treats my child with passion and kindness, quickly understands her abilities, and teaches accordingly. It has been about ten days since our child started lessons, and we have already seen increased confidence and improvement in English skills. We sincerely appreciate the teacher’s efforts and highly recommend her.
