I’m Federica, your Italian tutor from the beautiful city of Perugia, nestled in Umbria—Italy’s lush 'green heart.' 🇮🇹✨ As a Community Tutor for Italian, I’m passionate about sharing not just the language but the vibrant culture and traditions of my homeland. Since I am also a Tour Guide, my teaching philosophy revolves around making Italian *alive* for you—whether it’s through art, food, or lively chats about local customs. Me as a Teacher
My journey as an Italian teacher began unexpectedly, when a Japanese friend asked me to help her maintain and deepen her knowledge of the language. What started as a simple favor quickly turned into a passion: I discovered how rewarding and inspiring it is to share my language and culture with others. Teaching Italian has allowed me to fall even more in love with my country. Through each lesson, I guide students in practicing the language and exploring Italian culture — from breathtaking landscapes and timeless art to delicious cuisine and local traditions. I'm here to help you discover the soul of Italy. My lessons & teaching style
Conversation is the best way to learn a new language. I teach Italian through the customs and traditions of my country. From north to south, Italy offers a variety of worlds: food, art, landscapes, dialects, and culture to explore in each lesson. I focus on conversation, using topics that interest the student most. For learners with at least A1–A2 level, I also provide grammar, vocabulary, exercises, videos, and podcast. I’m patient, helpful, and a good listener, and I always adapt to each student’s needs with personalized materials, a flexible approach, and attention to individual goals, learning styles, and progress tracking.My teaching material
