This was my second French class on italki, and I feel so lucky to have found such a great teacher on just my second try!^^Julien is passionate, highly experienced (and impressively fast at typing!) I love his teaching style; it suits me perfectly and is exactly what I was looking for. I can’t wait for my next lesson with him! Merci beaucoup et à très bientôt!

Today's lesson we did another role play and he helped me a lot with figuring out where my weak points are during speaking practice. He recommended to me to do writing practice more often and so next time I will prepare short passages in French to work through together. He has a great perspective about language learning. Julien is always honest and straight forward with his advice!

It was my trial session with Julien and I'm really impressed. He was very energetic but also very calm at the same time. He pointed out my mistakes and also suggested alternative vocab and phrases. I am now going to book some more lessons with him.

Today's lesson, we worked through my short texts. I had four of them ready and I think writing about my personal opinions or thoughts was really great for my French. Julien always takes the time to make sure the foundation of my French is solid before introducing new concepts. He has so many resources to help his students and I feel with every lesson I am improving. Language learning is a long and tedious process but with Julien I feel that it is really fun and the lessons really fly by.
