There are many different types of language teachers online these days, but from my experience, if you were to roughly categorize them into two main groups, there is one that's good for simply enjoying and practicing casual conversations and, the other that really influences your learning experience. Jamie is the latter. While she is also a great conversationalist, her dedication to help you speak more naturally and correctly in Korean is second to none. She also employs various approaches to her lessons, so you get to work on your Korean from different angles over time. If you are serious about improving your Korean and want to spend your time and money productively to that end, I'm certain that she is one of the best choices you can make. I'm always grateful that I've found her in my Korean learning journey.

I’ve been studying with Jamie for 3 months now and my Korean has improved so much in that time! I went from barely being able to say anything to being able to speak simple sentences. She focuses on pronunciation a lot and gave me really helpful tips that I haven’t heard anywhere else. Her lessons are engaging and she explains new concepts very well. I’m so happy I found such a wonderful teacher!

I was really tired at the beginning of the lesson and didn’t think I would be able to learn much. But Jamie was so engaging and gave a lot of energy so by the end of the lesson I was more awake and really focused.

I am starting to speak in sentences now. It is difficult but Jaimie is very helpful and encouraging!
