With a 16-year journey in ESL education, my teaching career has taken me across borders and cultures. It began in South Korea, where I spent five years as an educator at YBM ECC.
Subsequently, I moved to the city of Madrid, completing an in-person TEFL certification and teaching with Academia Los Castillos. My time in Spain broadened my understanding of the unique challenges faced by language learners in different settings.
Embracing the digital age, I transitioned to online teaching, starting with a five-year stint at VIPKID. Over the last two years, I have diversified my online teaching experience by working with various companies, ensuring a dynamic and engaging learning environment.Me as a Teacher
As a teacher, I pride myself on creating a friendly and inclusive learning environment where every student feels comfortable expressing themselves. I see my role as a guiding hand, gently steering my students towards success. I understand the importance of making corrections with tact and encouragement, ensuring that each mistake is seen as an opportunity for growth rather than a setback. In the classroom, I take joy in introducing new words and phrases, aiming to expand my students' vocabulary and language proficiency.
