I am a native English speaker from The United States of America. I have been teaching English professionally since 2018. I started teaching English in Phuket, Thailand where I taught English and Math for EP6/1. I moved to teaching online with an exclusively Chinese platform where I have taught over 8100 private English lessons with children from China! If you aren't making mistakes, you aren't trying. I LOVE mistakes! Language is so much fun. It feels like magic when you are able to speak to another person in another language and they know what you are saying! I want all of my students to feel that. Too many students fear making a mistake because we are conditioned to feel humiliation when we are wrong. Not In My Class! Humiliation is NOT allowed. I encourage each and every student to try their best and know they will always get better, as long as they try. Making mistakes is apart of the learning process and should be embraced. My classes are fun, enjoyable, relaxed and stress-free. Students learn to build confidence through mistakes. As a teacher, I personalize each lesson plan according to the four pillars of language-learning: reading, writing, listening and speaking.
