Julie made my first lesson on italki fun and enjoyable! I learnt new vocab, I know what I need to work on, I feel more confident! 👍😄✨

I love, love, love Julie! She is super fun to talk to and she motivates me to get better outside of lessons so I can fully express myself. She lets me know what I need to work on at the end of the lesson and she writes down the my mistakes for me to practice. I can't wait until our next lesson!

My trial lesson with Julie was good! She's good at explaining grammar which I love. Very polite and super nice.

I think I found my favorite teacher. Julie is the first teacher I've had that took the time to remember things we talked about in our first lesson. She structured this lesson to address things I had trouble with last time while also introducing new things to learn as well. If you are serious about learning a language, Julie is the best teacher to aid you in this journey. As long as you continue to work on the language outside of the class on your own (Julie also gives relevant homework which I love) you will progress rapidly! Thank you Julie!

I absolutely loved my first lesson with Julie. She was super interactive and prepared. She sent me a Google Doc beforehand with a few prompts, questions, and just to have an area to take notes. I can tell she understands how it feels to learn a language because she was super patient and helpful. It definitely helps that she speaks Spanish as that is the first foreign language I learned and she wrote a lot of the vocab in French that I needed help with and added the Spanish translation. I feel this definitely challenges me to stop using English to translate aloud or in my head. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I can't wait for the next lesson!

Julie prepares interesting topics for our lessons and is very thorough in her teaching style. She makes a google document for her students with key resources and phrases from the lessons. She can help you with grammar, pronunciation, writing, general conversation and anything you would like to focus on. Would recommend!
