Laura is excellent - she corrects my mistakes, makes suggestions, and helps with pronunciation. She likes to know what interests me so that she can plan our lessons.

Laura has been fantastic since day one. I saw that she was a skilled teacher from the beginning and can reaffirm it after 10 lessons. She comes very prepared and has helped me improve through structured exercises and guided discussions. I'm a beginner in Spanish and feel very comfortable trying to express myself, even though before Laura, I had never spoken Spanish to anyone in my life. I also appreciate the support and professionalism shown in class, and am planning to continue my studies with her!

Laura has a very unique teaching style. She engages herself in your level of Spanish and orients herself accordingly. The Powerpoint presentations are a wonderful idea, she keeps tracking of your progress, pushes you to your limits, and writes down every detail you need to work on and hands the presentation to you afterwards.

I have had a few teachers on italki in the past, but Laura is the best. She’s fun to converse with, she plans lessons tailored to your level, and she teaches you the correct expressions and words for what you’re trying to say. Even though I learn a lot, the lessons don’t feel like lessons - more like talking with a friend who can help bring me to another level. Highly recommend Laura! You won’t find a better language teacher!

Laura is very present and engaging, and she never makes you feel badly about mistakes. She also pushes you at a perfect rate.
