Hi my name´s Natalie, and I´m an experienced and qualified EFL teacher from Liverpool, England. I live in the South of Spain with my Spanish husband and our two young sons. In my free time I enjoy reading, watching the latest film releases and going for walks along the beautiful beaches near my home. I also love travelling and have travelled around Asia, South America, North America, Australia and New Zealand, and many parts of Europe. I love meeting new people and learning about different cultures.Me as a Teacher
My teaching passion began in China in 2002, when I taught Conversational English, after gaining a degree in English and Media at University. I got my EFL teaching qualification in 2005 and I´ve been teaching English in Summer schools, Academies in Spain and online since. Over the years I´ve taught a range of ages and levels, and have experience in preparing students for exams, General English and Business English. I also have an advanced TEFL qualification (The Trinity DipTesol) and have trained new teachers. I´ve a special interest in teaching young learners, have given
workshops, and written a manual on how to teach children. However, I love teaching all ages and levels. My lessons & teaching style
I am a friendly and patient teacher, who understands how difficult learning another language can be. With my young learners we will learn through the use of songs and games and fun practice. Whereas with exam preparation the focus can be on the different parts on the exam and strengthening your weakness. Most importantly, I believe that every student is different, we each have different abilities,styles, interests and different reasons for learning English. とても優しい先生で安心してお話しすることができました。
私の英語レベルに合わせて、ゆっくり話してくれたので、先生が言ってることはだいたい理解することができました。スピーキングスキルがまだ追いつかず、自分のことはうまく話せなかったのですが、勇気を出してトライアルしてみて良かったです。
とても緊張していたのですが、レッスンが始めると一生懸命話そうとするので
そんなことを忘れて楽しむことができました。自分の足りなさも改めてわかりました。インプットの勉強をして、またitalkiで色々な方とお話してみたいです。
