I'm a former attorney and experienced teacher, originally from New Jersey, USA. I'm pretty much curious about everything and happy to talk about whatever. Some of my interests include philosophy, literature, yoga, music, politics, current events, and studying languages.
My teaching style is 100% conversational. I'm a good listener, and I'm curious about who you are, what you're up to, and what you think about things. My goal is to help you express yourself the way you want to express yourself in English. I think we learn best when learning itself is a pleasant experience, so I try to make class as relaxed and enjoyable as possible.

My first conversation class with Ray was exceptional. He is, without a doubt, an excellent conversationalist and a fantastic teacher. We talked about a variety of topics; he has a lot to teach, and the class was very enjoyable. I’m impressed!

Ray is a really good teacher. He's also a language learner, so he knows the process very well. The conversations are always interesting, smooth, and I learn a lot when practicing conversation with him. He's cult, smart, gentle. Awesome teacher!
