Hi, I’m Alex, nice to meet you! I'm originally from Italy, but I've spent over a decade studying and working abroad. I've lived in the USA, the UK, Japan, and Thailand. I'm passionate about languages, cultures, and communication. Whether I'm exploring a new country, experimenting with recipes, or diving into video games, I'm always looking for ways to connect with the world. I truly believe that learning a new language is one of the most rewarding investments you can make. I’m a certified CELTA and TESOL instructor with over a decade of experience teaching English to speakers of other languages. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with learners of all ages – from young children to adults – in both classroom settings and online environments. In addition to English, I’ve recently begun designing and offering beginner and intermediate Italian lessons, with a focus on practical, conversational skills and cultural insights. Whether you're learning English or Italian, my goal is to create a supportive, engaging, and personalized experience to help you reach your language goals. I offer English and Italian lessons tailored to your level, goals, and interests. We can follow a structured approach using textbooks, or keep things more dynamic by working with YouTube videos, songs, news articles, and other real-world materials — it all depends on what works best for you. When you book your first lesson, please take a moment to tell me a bit about yourself: your current level, why you're learning the language, and any preferences or goals you may have. This helps me prepare the right materials in advance and ensures we make the most of our time together from the very first session. The more I know about you, the better I can support your learning journey!
