I like to create a learning environment that puts people at ease and reduces any nervous feelings that they may have. By feeling comfortable and not overthinking too much, I find that people are able to learn at a faster pace and with more enjoyment. Other - Mental Health and Addictions WorkerBefore I became an English teacher I worked for many years in the mental health and addictions sector. I worked in hospitals and the community. This role required continuous study throughout and I took multiple courses on things such as mental health first aid, crisis management, emotional management, and talking therapy.

I just had an English lesson with this amazing teacher. Rorie was incredibly patient and explained words and expressions clearly, sometimes even using Spanish when necessary, which really helped me understand. His teaching style is calm, supportive, and very effective. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to improve their English — especially for Spanish speakers who need that extra bridge between the languages. You won’t regret learning with Rorie!
