Hello! I’m Tanya, a native Ukrainian and Russian speaker. I split my time between Canada and Ukraine and love sharing real-life language and cultural experiences.
I have a Master’s degree in Architecture and over three years of experience as both an architect and an English tutor. I also completed a course in English for Architects, so if you’re in a creative or technical field, I can help you speak confidently in professional contexts.
My lessons focus on speaking and fluency — not grammar rules. I mostly work with beginners and intermediate learners who want to sound more natural and express themselves freely. Let’s talk!Me as a Teacher
I have over three years of experience teaching adults. I enjoy working with beginners and intermediate English learners who are still building confidence in the language. I love helping students take their first steps and giving them that initial spark of motivation to keep going. My goal is always to create a relaxed space where students feel comfortable speaking, making mistakes, and learning naturally. My lessons & teaching style
My lessons focus on conversational English with the goal of helping you speak with confidence. I mainly work with adults at beginner to intermediate levels. Together, we will:
– Improve fluency for everyday life and communication
– Prepare for travel and real-world situations
– Build confidence and reduce fear of speaking
– Develop listening and pronunciation skills
– Discuss creative topics like art, design, and architecture
– Learn how to express complex ideas in English
– Use grammar only as needed — naturally, through conversation
