Hello, my name is Anna. I am from Denmark, born and raised, but I currently live in Istanbul, Turkey. I love it here because it’s a big mix of people, languages and cultures.
I have a BA in teaching and education from University of Southern Denmark.
In my spare time I love to cook for my friends, travel, watch movies, read books and go to concerts.Me as a Teacher
Through my training as a teacher, and from hands on teaching, I have experience in teaching various age groups and people from all over the world. I have primarily been teaching at international schools, summer school for expats and as a private tutor.
I have also been doing volunteer work.
I always try to adapt my teaching methods to my students' needs, interests, and language skills.
As a language learner myself, I know how important it is to keep learning fun and motivating!My lessons & teaching style
I usually plan my lessons according to a certain subject, depending on my student's needs and interests. I can help my student to keep up with the curriculum required by his/her school. Depending on the learner's language skills, I will incorporate various written texts in the lesson.
I try to make learning fun and interesting. My lessons will be very conversational. I can also teach grammar if that is a focus point for my student.My teaching material

Anna has been wonderful in helping me learn a little bit of Danish before we head to Denmark for vacation. She makes it very fun and easy to learn. I look forward to using the phrases I learned when we go to the cafe or yarn store. Mange tak!

Had my first lesson with Anna and it was exactly what I needed and was hoping for. She met me at the appropriate level immediately and provided me with the perfect combination of conversation and grammar. Danish is a beautiful language but not easy. Anna makes the lessons fun and enjoyable. She provides plenty of time to practise speaking and I can see improvements every lesson.
