Friendly South African teacher with over 3 years' experience. Hi! I am a South African woman in my late 20s. I love meeting new people and teaching online. Some of my hobbies include reading, listening to podcasts and spending time with friends and family, including my 3 dogs and 2 cats. I have an honors degree in Genetics, but have decided that the science world isn't for me, so here I am! I look forward to meeting you! I have over 3 years of experience teaching English online and mainly working with adult students. I have helped students prepare for interviews and pass tests, including the IELTS test. I have access to books and teaching websites that I use to set up lesson plans and have also built up a large list of topics for conversation lessons. My teaching style can be different from student to student, depending on what the student needs from me, but I am naturally easy-going and relaxed. I am also very patient and understanding. I try my best to make students feel comfortable to make mistakes and learn from them. My lessons can be as simple as having a conversation, or it can include worksheets and exercises for improving your General English, or even Business English.
