Ingrid Lin

I was really fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) and I now am learning Taiwanese with Ingrid. She teaches you, talks more about the background of how things work, and also makes some funny mnemonics to help you remember things a lot better. She is an excellent teacher.

Teacher Ingrid was very kind and patient with me. She has lived in the UK for a while and her English ability is incredible so she understands the process and difficulties of pushing one's language ability to advanced and beyond. We had a lot of fun chatting and getting to know my level and study style so Ingrid was very considerate about this. 謝謝老師

I brought my own test prep materials for practice and teacher Lin was very accommodating, and gave very helpful suggestions and important vocab. Lots of fun talking with her, very easygoing and energetic, great sense of humor.

I really enjoyed my first class with Ingrid. She even explained to me the components of some characters, helped me learn different uses for new words, and even taught me about the culture. It was a nice class! It also made me feel a bit more confident in my Mandarin.
