张老师 is the best teacher I've had on Italki! As a more advanced Mandarin speaker, she is the perfect teacher for me. She contextualizes new materials and explains concepts clearly while being patient, encouraging, and helpful. Our lessons are structured but still a lot of fun. I am constantly impressed by how much she cares about her students. Highly highly recommend her!

Zhang laoshi is a very kind and encouraging teacher! I enjoy the cheerful nature of her classes and the way she explains new words with lots of patience. She's receptive to studying any materials of my choosing, we just finished working through a Chinese mythological story I bought, she explained any words or grammar point i didn't understand. It was lots of fun! I especially like her attentiveness in correcting my pronunciation mistakes.
