Qualified teacher with over 20 years experience Hi, I’m Erika, a qualified teacher with over 20 years’ experience teaching languages to international students and migrants. I create engaging, well-organised lessons tailored to each student’s needs and use a range of materials including video, audio, grammar, reading, writing, and conversation activities. I hold a Master of Education with First Class Honours and have also developed teacher-training materials for a university-based language school in Auckland. I also offer casual Hungarian conversation classes focused on fluency through interesting topics. Feel free to contact me with any questions. I have always loved languages and have learnt them from an early age as a child. This was my main motivation to become a teacher over 20 years ago. Apart from teaching I have also spent time contracting to a language school based at one of the universities in Auckland to develop teaching materials for new teachers to help them on their teacher training journey. I completed my Master of Education with First Class Honours which I believe enhances my knowledge about education in general and also my teaching practice. I have experience teaching from a beginner to an advanced level; and have taught students from all over the world.
