Hello! I’m SeongMin from South Korea, now living in Spain. I majored in Russian Language and Literature and spent 12 years living and working in Saint Petersburg. I hold a Korean language teaching certificate, love traveling (40+ countries), meeting people, and discovering cultures. I believe learning languages opens the door to a whole new world.

I began tutoring Korean at university, teaching international students and later Russian employees at Korean companies. For 5+ years, I’ve taught online in Russian and English, delivering over 3,000 lessons. Having learned foreign languages myself, I understand the struggles. While grammar, reading, and writing matter, enjoying the process with confidence is the key.

My lessons are fully customized. If you’re starting from the beginning, we’ll go step by step — from the alphabet to more advanced topics — using textbooks, and other materials. If you want to improve specific skills such as writing, reading, or speaking, we’ll focus on those areas. Most importantly, my classes are always held in an enjoyable, supportive, and comfortable atmosphere!

Wow! What an incredible lesson with Min! Min is a very professional, but also a playful teacher. She came to the lesson with a customized plan to fit my current level in Korean. (which is nonexistent) The lesson was so much fun, and the time felt like it flew it by. At the end of the lesson, Min gave me some homework to help me better prepare for the next one. I couldn't have asked for a better Korean teacher. I feel so honored to be her student! Thanks again, Min!!

I have had a couple of lessons with Seongmin now and have had a great time. She has been a very engaging and patient partner to practice my speaking with and responds well to my level and lack of knowledge in certain areas. Seongmin has been quite encouraging with trying new approaches to conversations and is flexible in both leading the conversation and letting it go where it may. We've gone down more than a few rabbit holes. I look forward to more lessons with her.
