Robert continues to make Icelandic learning fun, accessible and enjoyable. I have been working with him for several months now and cannot rate him highly enough. He is extraordinarily resourceful and his handle on the language is exquisite. An excellent, passionate mentor who is patient, caring and willing to push you when you need it. Robert is just awesome! His explanations are always just so crisp and digestible. For someone who doesn’t necessarily have the longest attention span, I have been kept engaged the whole time we discussed about the dreaded subjunctive today. I don’t know how he does it but he’s really good at making the seemingly complex concepts easy to understand. He’s very passionate about the language and this is apparent in the level of dedication that he affords his students. He’s hands down amazing that I always look forward to my lessons with him. 😉🙌⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️♾

Robert is patient is waiting for me to form an utterance (or would be overly generous to call it a "sentence") and explaining things in simple terms. Since we have only 30 minutes at a time I also appreciate that he'll switch to English when I'm not quite getting it in Icelandic and time is running short : )

Thirty lessons completed and my Icelandic is now vastly improved thanks to Robert! He is an excellent tutor. As always, the lessons are enjoyable and informative and Robert has tonnes of patience. We are currently working on my pronunciation as I often sound like a robot! Thanks to his tuition and guidance, I am certainly improving and becoming more natural. I'm so excited to return to the best country in the world in May armed with everything I have learned! Takk fyrir Robert. ('Teacher's pick' this message Robert 🤣)

Robert clearly enjoys teaching and sharing his interest in Icelandic language, people, and culture. It's fun practicing conversation with Robert and I look forward very much to our sessions
