Hello! I'm Paloma, a native English speaker from the US and a five-star ESL teacher. I also speak Spanish fluently, and know a little Arabic and Italian.
Also, I'm a holistic wellness coach, helping people to flourish by building confidence, overcoming fear and anxiety, and establishing healthy habits.
I have a wide variety of interests and love traveling and listening to the stories of people from around the world. Learning about other languages and cultures has been a hobby since I was a small child.
It can be so scary to speak to a native speaker. I've felt that way too. That's why I'm very patient with students and consider listening to be one of the most important teaching tools.Me as a Teacher

TranscriptionistIn order to transcribe audio received from clients all over the world, an ability to listen carefully and understand a wide variety of accents is necessary. A little known side of transcription is that it's critically important to understand what you're transcribing, not just type what you hear. This level of comprehension is what makes the difference between hearing and communicating, which is a critical element of teaching.
