Hi，I’m Shirley, a native Chinese Speaker from Shanghai. :)
I have worked in a university in Shanghai since 2006 and have already taught about 25k+ Chinese lessons online and offline , such as language essentials, HSK preparation ect.. My students are 7 to 65 years old, from all over the world, with many different first languages. I studied Chinese in college and lived there for a few years after, so I have quite a lot of language exposure and experience but am extremely rusty. Shirley assessed my language abilities and placed me at a level that is appropriately challenging. Her lessons are well structured, her demeanor is very welcoming and supportive, and her approach is very methodical. She's a good fit for serious learners—feeling like my language skills are in good hands!

Another great class with Shirley laoshi! She picked a really interesting topic for us to discuss and sent it in advance, which makes mentally preparing for a lesson much nicer. She also sent the slides in advance, which I (as a preparer) really appreciate. My language skills really thrive with this kind of structure!
