Hi, I am Himani. I like to travel and meet new people. Cooking seems to be my newfound love. I'm a native Hindi and Sindhi speaker. I’d like to share an interesting experience... while I was learning English in high school, I used to go for English tuitions, and we were made to read the newspaper aloud turn by turn. And, when it was my turn, I was reading a paragraph and my level of hesitation was such, that I pronounced m-u-c-h as mooch.
So... I just want to say that it is okay to be embarrassed sometimes when you’re learning a new language.Me as a Teacher
I decided to become a teacher because I wanted to let everyone know that it is not okay to pressure yourself in the process of learning. It is a process and you shouldn’t try to quicken a process, rather stay patient and determined. I teach English and Hindi. I have designed English courses for learners at all levels, Business English Courses and courses for professionals from different industries like BPOs, Hospitality, and Banking.My lessons & teaching style
My lessons are comprehensive they comprise not only of the basics and grammar rules, but more of something you’re likely to encounter on a daily basis. For example, How to ask the price of something at a store, How to negotiate, How to wish someone on phone or in person, etc.
I teach through articles, videos, audios, and presentations. My teaching style is informal and I like to do more revision exercises so the learner can retain the information better.My teaching material
