Hi there, My name is Jefrey and I'm from Manila Philippines. I graduated in Business Administration in one of the prestigious universities in our country. I worked as a Customer Service Specialist for over five years and I've been an online English teacher for about four years now. I have taught Chinese students, Japanese, Koreans, Vietnamese, Spanish, Brazilians, Russians, and other Nationalities from beginner (A1) to advanced. I love teaching because it's my passion and I am very happy and proud when my students learn English too. I'm a very patient teacher, determined, and understanding when it comes to my student. I know that learning another language is not that easy because I'm a language learner too. I'm well dedicated, passionate and I will do all the best I can just for you to learn. It's truly fulfilling seeing the progress of each student.
IMy lessons & teaching style
The first thing I always do with my new students is to evaluate their level and to identify the areas of their difficulties. Next, I personalize all lessons & materials needed in my class that suit the learning needs of each student.
I also incorporate the Total Physical Response (TPR) method for an effective way of teaching beginners and young learners. TPR is based on the coordination of language and physical movement. I have prepared materials like Flashcards, props, pictures, PDF files, audios, videos, articles, and other clippings.
I offer grammar, listening, writing, speaking, and pronunciation classes to all ages.My teaching material
