Un italiano in Scozia - Chiacchieriamo senza fretta I am Italian, born and raised on the lovely Italian Riviera. Now living in Scotland, I like to chat with people from all over the world, at all levels of Italian, make new friends, and give them a nice, relaxed, Italian-style introduction to our sunny vocabulary & ideas. Una bella chiacchierata... to learn something new about the "bel paese" while improving your fluency. I am happy to prepare new topics for you to explore with me, lesson after lesson. We can focus on your specific requirements, or you can leave it to me to introduce you to those things that will open up your Italian... (talk about family, sports, politics, love, religion, but also architecture, literature, arts, beaches, the Alps, the way Italians see themselves as part of world history and culture). I love to explore with you the roots of our words, and see how they compare with those of your language, if at all possible! Learning a new language allows you to acquire a new perspective, see things through different lens. It also means acquiring a vocabulary based on different cultural roots, which will open up a whole new world of concepts and ideas to explore. I have total flexibility to provide my support to your learning, and can suggest valuable but fun methods to make those new words stick. I will also give you insight into life in Italy and its culture, considering art, history, architecture, sport, and much, much more. What are you waiting for?
