Teaching English and Portuguese online over 6 years Hello, everyone! I'm Tamires. I'm from Brazil. I'm passionated about meeting people and learning about cultures, so I've decided to study Linguistics in university to assist people from different levels and backgrounds to achieve their goals in English or Portuguese. Regarding my teaching style and lessons, I support students from different ages and objectives to obtain fluency in a language. My classes are tailored to your needs, covering skills such as grammar, reading, listening, writing, pronunciation, conversation, preparation for tests or job interviews. I also provide a study planner for my students, so they are able to follow up their learning process outside the classroom. I've been teaching kids, teenagers and adults from different countries over 6 years. So, working with these people helped me to understand some common struggles among students. I assisted these peers mainly with grammar, conversation practice, pronunciation, listening, and accent reduction. Most of my students after some classes became more confident to speak in English. They could understand me and other people, beyond achieving their goals like being admitted at job interviews and different applications. I always size up the level of English of my students, in order to use appropriate materials with them.
