I have a bachelor's degree in Linguistics from UCLA (go Bruins!) and am TEFL-certified. I have 4 years of English teaching experience to all ages. I also worked as a translator/interpreter for 4 years. I lived and taught English in Japan for 2 years. I plan to continue ESL teaching long-term. Alipio is an enthusiastic teacher who is willing to help us with our English.He is easygoing so I am able to get over nervousness and talk with him in a free atmosphere.Alipio grew up in the USA and has worked in Japan for 2 years .Based on such abundant experiences and his intercultural ability,he provided me with some useful information and suggestions. It's always great to talk to people about exactly what you're passionate about. I think it's great when Alipio talks about his life and I have points of reference. When one's English is advanced, it's simply a matter of exposure to refine one's English. That's why I speak as much as I can and Alipio fully supports that.
