Absolutely great and professional teacher! Every lesson contains talking, reading and listening with clear grammar explanations. I highly recommend to everyone that would like to learn Turkish in a natural way.

I've been working with Birol for several months and I really enjoy his style. We do a lot of open conversation, but we also pick a topic and he creates a document for each lesson so that I have a study guide for the week. He also shares a lot of links for videos , materials or ideas for self-study.

I am a beginner and have been working with Birol for a few weeks now, we agreed a goal, timeline, way of working and he provides all the resources I need. Every lesson is part of this plan but he is also flexible to reflect areas I need extra help on, he is really 'teaching me' rather than just going through a process he does with everyone. Birol's English is very good which enables him to explain everything in my own language (often this is an issue with Turkish teachers) which has really helped, as without a firm foundation in the grammar learning Turkish is impossible. He is always very positive, listens well and engaged in every lesson. I can wholeheartedly recommend Birol.

Birol has a tried and tested teaching method for beginners in Turkish, with recommended textbooks, youtube videos and other materials that are really helpful for going from a scattered understanding of the language to a much clearer and more structured grasp of how it works. I especially appreciate that he uses a tailored planner for each student that lays out the different units and shows you what you are working on and how you are progressing. It gives each lesson a clear purpose and makes it easy to see how what you are learning fits into the bigger picture. His lessons are structured and easy to follow. I’d definitely recommend him!

Birol is very organize and you can see he has taken the time to develop his Turkish language materials. He is English is very good which helps a lot with explanations. I hope to take more lessons with him.
