Traveling taught me how language unlocks culture—I bring that passion to lessons. When I’m not teaching, I’m reading, exploring science topics, or spoiling my three cats. Frederica took me on as a complete beginner, actually a newcomer to Italian, knowing nothing. My aim to be able to speak some Italian with confidence on my holiday in September. Through her gentle encouragement and kindness, with a balance of talking , reading as well as the grammar essentials, I now feel confident to speak what little Italian I have and communicate- which is what I want to do. Her exercises and homework are directed at my needs and my level. I highly recommend her

I can’t recommend Frederica enough. She took me from a complete newcomer who wanted to have some Italian for my trip to Rome next week and with patience in 3 months she has allowed to be confident to speak. She has taught me how to interact in common social situations but at the same time taught me the basics of grammar which is the foundationof speaking any language
